Happy Mother's Day...

I was thinking of this today as we are celebrating the one person who (should) love us regardless of what we've done and what we've become -- our mothers.  I say should because I've talked to and known people over the years that don't think as highly of their mothers as I do -- tearing their mother down verbally instead of saying nice things about them.

I am sure there are reasons behind that, and they are probably too numerous to mention. But I just can't imagine going through life having ought against the very one who brought me forth that many years ago.  As my mom mentioned in a note yesterday, you have to learn that you are human.  You're prone to make mistakes. (Human League moment there) And to apologize in this case would not be a sign of weakness.

For those whose mothers are no longer with us and are cheering us on from Heaven's Grandstands, I hope you took the time to remember and honor them today as well.

Again, Happy Mother's Day!
